With the assistance of local community customers the Metropolis of Tyler will be functioning to gather supplies and requirements for survivors of Hurricane Ida.
Donations will be recognized till Sept. 15 at the Downtown Recycling Center, the Glass Recreation Center and the Goodman Museum. Group users will be taking the relief objects to the east side of New Orleans to help with restoration.
Drop-off periods and locations:
Downtown Recycling Centre at 414 N. Bois D’Arc Ave. in Tyler from Monday via Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to midday.
Glass Recreation Heart at 501 W. 32nd St. in Tyler from Monday by way of Friday 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Goodman Museum at 624 N. Broadway Ave. in Tyler from Tuesday by means of Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Metropolis of Tyler is asking for donations to be new and unopened. Shovels, rakes, axes, saws – instruments for clearing debris
Trash Baggage – all measurements, from 13-gallon kitchen bags up to garden/leaf bags and contractor bags
Searching Baggage – to be employed for distribution of meals and materials
